What will I do?
Cornerstone to the project is planting trees and helping the locals with other ecologically and socially focused projects. This project, however, is more than just manual labor. There will be numerous opportunities to connect with the local people, exchange culture and promote new learning. Other activities include visits to the area's schools and local sightseeing. Of course, you will have time to enjoy the natural beautiful surroundings of El Salvador.
Duration and price
The trips are usually two weeks in duration, although this is subject to change depending on various factors.
Based on past trips, the cost is the price of airfare and other travel expenses to get to El Salvador plus approximately $55 USD per day which includes food, local travel, lodging, and other activities. The exact amount is calculated once the size of the group is determined and the exact dates of the trip are known. .
